True and the same goes for blocking coming to the checkered. They do what it takes and in those cases, Kyle & Tony were doing what it took. The drivers may say that its not right outside the car, but like you're saying, drivers are different inside the cars as they're like animals - they do whatever needed.
But see that's why there is NASCAR and espically their crew cheifs there - to calm them down and keep that inline. If that happened, then this wouldn't be discussed.

But is that always possible? We've seen in cases where drivers don't listen to their crew cheifs, owners and spotters. What do you do in those cases?

So NASCAR goes and polices bump drafting and ruins the race for the fans - Great! Thanks NASCAR ::)

.....what they should've done is police the blocking. Both wrecks at Talladega (spring) & Daytona (summer) were caused by blocking, not the bump drafting. So therefore why ruin the whole thing just due to one small element? It just doesn't make sense.

They vowed to stop bump drafting in the corner. Bump drafting in the corner is one of the msot dangerous acts (maybe not as bad as blocking, but still) to do at Talladega as you're hitting the car infront of you on a angle. That angle equals the car infront getting sideways = big wreck. They were taking procautions necessary. If you delete that, then you get less blocking due to less of those crazy runs.

But we still saw the blocking and we still saw two serious wrecks so obviously it didn't do it's job.

True, and hense why NASCAR had to step in and play police officers, Jr Princess. Maybe it sent a message to those drivers that they should be better with their temper so they won't be put in a box.
